Track info - all songs are written and performed by Daniel Carway except as
detailed below:
Don't Care Any More - wrote this one in the car.
Not Like The Movies - piano sounds from Hypersonic 2 soft-synth.
You Took Something Away From Me - written whilst invigilating an exam. Biology,
I think it was.
And Then Tomorrow - written in 1988, contains an excerpt from Pachelbel's Canon
in D. Backing vocals by Lisa Willgress (www.myspace.com/lisaandmusic). Improved
string sounds from Hypersonic 2
Carrier Bag - co-written by Ian Gogay in about 1988. Backing vocals by Lisa
Willgress & Charlean Barker
Disk Drive On My Desk - when my boss said 'I've got this disk drive on my desk for a reason...', I
thought 'That sounds like the start of a song.' So I wrote it. About
2 hours work to record it so iffy quality control!
Kill - words & music and vocals by my son, Joseph Carway (then aged 8), additional
music & arrangement by Dad.
Vintage Hall of Shame
In response to demand (by one person - hi Mike), here are some REALLY old
tracks, recorded in the olden days before computers*, on a 4-track tape machine,
tiny Casio keyboards played (badly) live, and virtually no audio processing!
I will eventually get round to remixing some of these horrors, but in the
meantime here's some which are untouched, and some which have been cleaned up a
bit. Download if you dare...
